I don't think I'll see much difference between bumper pull and 5th wheel of the same size on my truck, lol ;)

However, if I go over the 30 - 40 foot mark... Definitely. Though I'm only legally allowed to be 65 feet long... I'm 60 feet or so with my current combo [emoji38]

With a dually no. You drive truck though, so you know what I mean. In the 32 foot range like mine, pulling with a SRW truck, the difference is significant. I always had my trucks and WD hitches set up right, but in high crosswinds you could see and feel the trailer back there swaying pretty heavily at times. With a fiver, they don't budge. Granted, they are heavy as hell, though [emoji38]
The pin weight helps a lot with that... But 5ers do pull nice.... Except they screw me up in reverse. I keep thinking I'm pulling a b-train, lol.

Definitely a noticeable difference between the two styles without the bars, though...

My trailer is probably the biggest bumper pull that I can stick behind my truck and not have any sway issues.

Uggh. Filled 3/4 tank of B5, at least they SWEAR it was only 5% Bio, and used damn near twice as much fuel on the trip home. Didn't even see the sticker on the pump until it was too late. Fuggin' liberal bastards on the west side of the state make me want to puke. Anyhow, changing filters and running tank cleaner tomorrow. I poured in a bottle of Lucas to keep the injectors lubed, and topped off twice to try an thin the crap out. I was soooooo pissed. :fume:

Bio fuel has a way higher lubrication factor than ULSD.

It has too many negatives. I have torn down a few that had the oil turned to Jello

Shell V-Power actually makes a difference in my truck... But that shit is like 4+ bucks a gallon. (Canadian dollars)

Yeah, that is exactly what I filled up with, yesterday. It is $3.15 / gallon here. Truck is running better. Fuggin Biofuel sucks!

1860 miles on vacation. Several mountain passes, including the great Continental Divide (twice) 6300+ feet @ 6%.
13.3 MPG with an average of 74 MPH

Only got to weight the set up empty. I wanted to get total dry and wet weights. With only me, the low fuel light on, no propane, water, food, gear etc...19,980 pounds. Every time I got near a scale loaded, there were 5 trucks waiting.

Overall, I am super pleased. It was a great vacation, and the truck did great!
