DODGE: How to Clear "Change Oil" Message

The oil change indicator system is being introduced on most 2008 models. This system displays a "Oil Change Required" or "Oil Change" message at appropriate intervals on the instrument cluster.

To clear message after properly changing oil at required intervals:
1 - Insert key and turn to run position
2 - Depress throttle pedal 3 times quickly
3 - Turn key to off position

Yeah from what I know it is the same for the Chevs .. but this is new to the last few years of Dodges.

I ran into one guy who'd had the message on his ODO for 8 months :lol:
