Why buy new when you can restore?
Wasn't too impressed with them when I saw them at the car show.
Bad replacement for the Neon. Dodge needs to come out with a small, affordable car to compete with the Focus and Cobalt.

I dont understand replacing the Neon, which seemed to be a fairly decent selling car with this minivan/suv wannabe POS which never seemed to sell at all. Theres not many of them around here.

Since 2008 Dodge sold 218,463 Caliber models in the US. This was far more than the final years of the Neon could muster. The Caliber was an entry level vehicle that did well against its competitors... whether you like the vehicle or not. I sure as hell didn't want one.
The only reason it is leaving is to make room for more Fiat badged vehicles in the Chrysler lineup.

It wasn't a bad car for the last gen of compacts. But compared to the Cruze, new Focus, new Elantra, etc it was poor. But judging by Chrysler's recent products the Dart will probably be pretty good.

I owned a Neon and liked it. Probably never shouldve sold it and bought a Blazer but maybe the giant oil leak it developed when cleaning it up to sell it actually made it a good thing to sell it. Blazer was a much bigger POS than the beater Neon was though.
