Love the '77,your grampa knew a good, capable truck when he bought it

Like you said keep it in the family and restore it,your grampa would be happy :)

He mentioned to me multiple times before he passed that he wanted me to have the truck. So I'm defiantly going to keep it. Right now it's technically my dads but there is no way I will let him sell it.

That's the spirit

My cousin had (has?) a 78 with the same color scheme. It was never pretty, but sure did a lot of work.

Good stuff! :chevy:

Yeah this thing is a beast. It rides like a farm tractor until you get around a ton in the bed, then its like a Cadillac.

I think the color combo might look pretty darn good with some modern shiny paint

Been making some progress on the 69

My paint and body guy has finally had a chance to work on her again. Both front fenders and the hood are primed. The fender you can see there was in pretty bad shape but he was able to save it. He also primed an painted the inner fenders, but I dont have and pictures of those yet.

While he is working on the body work, I have been working on cleaning, sanding, priming, and painting some of the under hood parts.
