Well that sucks! It is under warranty, isn't it? After what one of those things cost for my '01, I can only imagine what one would cost for an '08.

The actuators are about 180 bucks through RockAuto. I have a 2 year 24,000 mile power train warranty. But was told if I find anything wrong in the next few day to bring it in and they will repair it. I did find a site that sells new motors for the actuators with repair instructions for 24 bucks a side.

He is strictly a used car dealer, but he has a topnotch team of buyers and stands behind his vehicles. The truck is the 3rd vehicle we have bought from him.

When I tried getting the latch from say RockAuto, GMParts Direct, etc, etc, they'd give me a different part number than what my truck actually took.
