I got it for around $200 to my door.. I would get the Diamond Eye over the MBRP Powder coated... Got a lot of complaints that the MBRP Powder rubbed off and was more of a pain to install... And the Diamond eye comes heat wrapped... There is a 4" pipe but it would barely fit in there with the tranny dipstick...

This will be a pain to install and dont ask your neightbor to help if he workes on Honda's!

Its all good! The other thread was for a MBRP... But I got the Diamond eye! I hated to buy from someone new.. I think that I originally got a price from Kyle before I even thought about getting it...

Both Kyle and Jesse are outstanding dudes!

Not to dig an old thread up but if you guys are having difficulty putting the dipstick back in after putting the down pipe on, i have an suggestion. The new 2011 diesels have the trans dipstick on the left side of the engine and I had the parts man at my dealer look up the parts and for about 60$ you can put the dipstick on the other side of the trans. All allisons have an optional dipstick port on the other side that is plugged with a plastic cap. Just a suggestion. Here are the gm p/n's oh dont forget these are canadian p/n's and sometimes are different than the US ones. Tube p/n 24258844, indicator 24258843. hope this helps some of you.

You betcha
I just saw the pics of the factory down-pipe for the first time...wtf was GM thinking on that one? It clearly narrows at the middle causing restriction.

Honestly the only thing that I can think of was for quality issues or for easy replacement.

I am sure there was some concern of that downpipe getting so hot that close to the firewall...

I don't think there was any room left with the replacement/upgrade.
