Dampness under floormats?

Everytime I remove my floormats in my 01 and 86 there is dampness under then in the carpet. No holes in the floorboard.....

Could it be just heat that generates under the truck and creates moisture under the mat?

I had the same problem and it was from the rubber floor mats. I got rid of them and so did the wet carpet.

With solid rubber mats, any water that gets on the carpet wicks up under the mat where it takes FOREVER to dry up.

I had them in my ranger which I plowed with. I got so much water and snow in there and then it melted and refroze. I had a scatting rink in my cab.
