That sucks man.

I know I would hate to shell out the cash for another tune, but I think you will be very satisfied if you go with BBP. You could have Justin tune it now and then later order the Autocal. As much as you like to modify that beast the Autocal would be a good investment. Any time you make changes (new tire size, exhaust, etc) Justin can email you an update or you can flash it back to stock for the dealer runs.

It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
Are you going to be able to get the spare computers from BBP? Because if you don't, you will have this same problem again next time :(

With Autocals release, I would waist the money on spare computers. Its not that much more to buy the Autocal and have the ability to store multiple tunes along with stock.

Thats true. If I were getting tuned today, I'd probably do that. :dunno:

If I were starting from scratch again, I'd have the Autocal.

I just PM'd BBP, they are doing tunes in Bridgewater, 30 minutes from me this weekend, this might be good timing on my part. :tmc: Just hate to pay for another tune since the first one was $295, but driving 90 minutes down there is a hassle. Thanks for the recommendation.
I really like my BB Tune. You will too if you go that route.

I also have spare PCM and TCM for my truck.

Just picked up my truck, guy left already for the day, so I couldn't yell at him lol. Have to be honest, I think nothing's changed. I know with the tune, from 1st into 2nd in a slow roll resulted in a nice hard kick into gear, that's still there which leaves me to believe the tune hasn't changed. Driveabllity hasn't seemed to suffer either.

Talked to Doug over at ECS, and I will go down during the day one day next week and have him update the tune, he's confident he can get the tire/gear ratio right with a guy who just started working there who does HP tunes. Between the two of them he thinks he can solve it. BBP couldn't tune my truck this weekend, suppsesdly no more slots open. AUTOCAL is $539, and I don't even know what the hell it is. If my tune ends up being ok, couldn't I just buy stock PCM/TCM from a salvage yard?
