I got an Autocraft Gold from Advance auto parts. 800 CCA And a three year free replacement warranty, 6 years pro rated warranty, for just under a hundred bucks. One of the best deals out there if you ask me. Can you buy a better battery? Probably so. But will it cost you more? Of course it will. I am more than happy with mine. Has never died on me yet even after my kids turned all the interior lights on in my truck. It sat overnight with them on. I got in it to leave the next morning and they were all on and the truck fired right up. It sat for about 10 hours. And there are a LOT of interior lights in a Suburban.

I have never had any luck with Delco batteries. They only last a couple of years for me. I bought a Duralast yellow top (800cca) from Autozone for a little over $100 in December. Truck turns right over. I had a red top in my '99 that was in it when I bought it in Sept. of '04. It was still going strong when I wrecked the truck in Dec of '09. :dunno:

Delco batteries seem to last anywhere from 1 - 10 years
