My Sierra had AFMz and a MF system and I didn't have any issues with 4-cyl mode. 
I had a little drone at 2100 but the AFM made no difference.
We shall see.
Worse comes to worse, I'll buy a Corsa Sport and cut off the rear tips and reroute just the last foot or two.

Pulling a trailer was really where it bugged me. Around town and empty it was fine with that GMPP
My GM system (Borla) is on one of my employee's trucks now with a 6.0. He finally had his full and tuned it out

I have a Corsa Sport on mine and the AFMz drove me crazy(er) with or without a tow. It just had that noticeable "popping noise" when switching between cylinder modes.
Everyone always says this but it sounds great. I'm sure it will get louder but right now, I have no drone issues and the V4 mode is slightly audible but so far, not annoying. I usually have the radio loud enough not to hear anything else anyway. 
This 12579 is a big muffler though so I didn't expect much. Sounds just like the white Hoe though, save for the AFM.
