Check under your cap. If you changed it recently, it's possible you didn't get it seated just right and have moisture and c0rrosion in there.

Don't understand how it wouldn't be seated right. Their are 2 screws that have to be lined up right to be able to screw them in.
Doesn't mean anything, they can still go on crooked.

That's where I had my problems.
That could with any GM from that era or earlier. I still think he need to get rid of the Autolite plugs. GM motors don't like them. I have had fouling problems with them in the past in a GM motor and always on one cylinder. I'll bet #6 is a weak cylinder.

True, I just had a similar issue with my old 400 as well. :D

Okay you guys win, I switched cylinder 6's plug to cylinder 4, she started sputtering real bad, but I drove up to advance and now it's cylinder 4 misfiring. and the gap was .060 and i checked my gap it was at .060. And also they werent autolite plugs they were champion plugs. So is it just the plug then?

And also they werent autolite plugs they were champion plugs. So is it just the plug then?
Put in Delco's!!!!!!

Since the miss followed the plug... when you switched it...
It seems like the plug itself is bad.
I would put in the PROPER AC Delco plugs.. (the ones specified in the owners manual) ... and that should eliminate your problem.

Sure sounds like it.

I'd buy all new AC Delco OEM plugs.

Ac Delco plugs all the way. I'd never put a Champion plug in a GM engine.
