They are cool until they blow the apex seals out... LOL

My friend in General motor's training had a new RX... and it was beautifully done, very fast, big turbo and such yatta yatta,

It blew them out twice while he had it. lol.

The only way to "blow" the apex seals is to run a turbo engine with WAY WAY WAY too much boost. A lot of those turbo RX-7 guys were overboosting and toasting engines. No different than overboosting a piston engine. Something is gonna give. There are a lot of old wives tales running around about rotary engines... mainly because the average mechanic does not understand them or know anything about them.

This car was actually built to where it needed to be for the boost...

It was beat on yes... BUT as I was saying.. they are cool until the apex seals blow out! hahah


As for a normal 8 cylinder engine... they are COOL until it throws a rod!!

Interior isn't bad. Typical crack on the dash and the seats are a little flat. Overall not too bad.

IF I keep the car the 13s will be history. These look great with 15s and some 50s. I'm sure 16s would look good too... not a lot of wheelwell. These are very small cars.

I like the look of the car but the small wheels kill it! I hope you find a nice set of 15s. Maybe go bigger with some mini tubs

It's all original (as in unmodified) and stock. The only thing not OEM on the car is the radio other than replacement parts.

Then it needs to stay as close to stock as possible. Still would be nice to get some serious rubber under there.
