I was agreeing. :D
So are you eventually going turbo? I always kind thought that a turbo was only good for a weekend warrior/track truck because of higher maintenance. :dunno:

Hell if I know. :dunno:

Depending on how addicted I get to going fast in a straight line, this truck might get turned into something other than a wheeling rig like I had originally planned. I have no idea what'll happen to the truck once I get the exhaust all buttoned up (which will probably be quite a while). Eventually I'd like to build a 6-lug 14 bolt, with either a Detroit, or an e-locker, but past that, I have NO clue.

Turbo is generally capable of more boost... But it doesn't kick in as quick as a supercharger... Though, some of these new turbos are DAMNED close... And you can size 'em so they basically feel like the factory powerband... But with more kick.

Stay away from the giggle juice on a DD... Unless you're keeping it under a 150 shot... But you'll want that power ALL the time, so massive boost will be nice anyway

You could always find an 8.1L kicking around... Those suckers got better mileage than a 6.0 of the same year range anyway

I haven't heard much one way or the other on them...

Since I wanna boost my V8 when I get it, you should test it out for me

I have a buddy with one on his C5 and he's never had an issue.

I have heard of some F-bodies having trouble with overheating and some belt slip issues but I think the cooling aspect is from space problems and the belt slip, I don't think I'll be pushing it that hard. The only thing with centri's are that they like RPM, so no low end torque like a TVS.

Which also means, that just cruising, you'll be getting good mileage
