Checked out the new Colorado today...

Small & not very comfy seats. Decent looking interior otherwise, but nothing very special. Somewhat dorky styling when seen in person... not sure GM will get a bump from this one. I left unimpressed.

I really wanted to like it.

The new full size trucks still blow them away from every angle - square wheelwells and all... and holy crap do they drive nicer then the GMT900 ever dreamed of.

I haven't looked at one in person but from pictures I like them. They've gotta be an improvement over the decade old Tacoma and Frontier.

With that little bed I still have trouble considering it a truck though. To me, pickups with tiny beds like that are sorta topless SUVs. That's just me though.

Darn,

I checked out the Gunn chevy dealership in New Braunfels a few months back for a commuter car that could also pull the boat. The sales guy was so good I kept his card in case I go back but other than that I wasn't impressed.

Guess I'll just have to keep paying for 17 mpg/80 miles per day. There just aren't any good small trucks right now. The Jeep Patriot is sitting at the top of my list if I were to trade.
