I wouldn't turn them down any further. I think short tips, and be done. I like the sound much better than straight down, having done it both ways a couple of times

Yea more I've thought about it I think you're right. I do like the sound a lot better especially idle

Sweet! Mine's been turned down for a couple of years now. I cut mine before the axle. Much cleaner look then tips sticking out IMO. That was the main reason I dumped mine.

Looks great.

Personally I wouldn't even bother with tips since you can't see them anyway.

Yeah I'm probably just get my dremel tool and clean up the cuts & maybe paint them black again

BTW, you have one of my favorite Fords on the site. It has come a long way since you bought it.
