Changing up my Exhaust, thinking about dumping it *UPDATED POST #39*

Well due to a rusted out rear exhaust hanger on my right tip I've thought about changing up the pipes.

I've kicked around the idea of running dumped exhaust for a while now. I am sick of seeing the nasty looking "black" tips 45'd out the back. My question is what should I do about dumping it.

Should I just cut off the tips back to where they are near each other under the bed (near the spare) & no tips or should I put some turn down tips on them? I've got a buddy who is a welding foreman/supervisor that can do it (buckshot85's boss).

What do y'all think? I'll get some pics up of the exhaust routing tomorrow. Ran out of light when I was looking at it tonight.

** Just FYI that is not rust mainly Georgia Clay, it was a Georgia truck**

You can see the broken hanger here, just an excuse to change it up some

Need to clean up that back axle and the housing. Excess oil from when I changed out the fluid

I would cut them just above the line of view from the rear.

I did my kid's truck like that, and we are adding a 4 inch tip to give it some throaty sound. It still wil not be visible unless you got on your knees and looked under the truck

That's what I've been thinking about doing. How much change am I gonna see in the exhaust note?

It will be noticeable. I have done it a few times in the past, and will be deeper and louder, especially sitting still
