Actually, if we could move our current place to more land we would both be happy.

If you are going to move for land, buy more than one acre. It sounds like a lot but it's just a big yard. 3-5 would make you happy.

I agree with T. We have 1.1 acres and it's nothing. definitely go for more if you're going to move for land.

I mean, I used to. Now I wonder why.

Hell, I don't even want a yard anymore. I never use it and it's just extra work.

I can shoot off of my back porch while pissing, naked, and it won't alarm even my closest neighbor. I like that no one can casually see anything I do. Plus, the wildlife is awesome.

This is not out of the question, but the problem is my location. In order to have that much I would have to move further than I want from the clinic. I go up there to check on patients in the middle of the night regularly. I don't want a 20+ minute drive.

1-2 acre lots are much easier to find.
