Well thankfully we will not have to switch ins companies now. My agent called yesterday and said he
got word back from the underwriters that they decided to reverse their decision.
This will save me some coin for sure. I would have to fork at about an extra $75 a month switching to even the cheapest quote I got.

Just out of curiosity, has anybody else had their rates go up? I haven't had a faulted accident in 20 years, but my insurance premium has gone up twice this year alone. :dunno:

I have Nationwide, and the more I think about it, I may be leaving the nation. It seems like they raise my premiums every time I turn around. :fume:

My dad has nationwide, and has ever since I can remember. He mentioned that his rates have been going up as, though he does live in Florida, and in a hurricane zone, but they have gone up the last year or so none the less.

In my experience, things like that don't typically go down
I don't expect them to go down. I'm just sick of them going up when I don't even make a claim. I must be paying for all of those uninsured bastards out there.

State Farm has gradually been raising my rates the past few years. Like a dollar or two increase on my monthly premium at least once a year. After my wife's accident it jumped up about $40 a month. But part of that was also switching insurance from a 2005 car to a brand new 2014 car.
Even still with that increase, they are still far cheaper than any other insurance company right now. I must have called or got online quotes from about 20 different companies, and the cheapest was Progressive. And they were still about $70 a month more than SF. :dunno:
