No, that's not a banana in my pants.
State Farm. Houses and cars. No problems.
Also been with Allstate when I had friends that were agents, but the got too expensive.
Be sure and look through independent agents. Lots of excellent insurance companies to get policies through.
Your non-renewal can hurt you with some insurance companies pricing
Besides the accident how many claims in the 5 years and for what. You've met their guidelines for being claim happy and you've become a bad risk in their eyes
Somebody backed into my wife in a parking lot, that may have been over 5 years ago. Also probably around 4-5 years ago I made a claim on my truck where I had some scratches all over the side, and some minor hail damage on the roof. Then last year my truck was broken into and the radio stolen. That's the only claims.
And they were all small claims too, biggest one was maybe $1500, the rest were all less than $1000.
But this accident was pretty expensive. $7500 was the book value of the Altima, and the Chevy dealer raped them for over $8000 for just a rear bumper and trailer hitch. Wasn't even any body or paint work done. Simply swapped the damn hitch and bumper. Dafuq??
If I add up all the premiums I have paid them over the years, its a lot more than they have ever paid out in claims.
