I wonder how the system would react tho if the car in front slammed on their brakes or if someone cut you off...
Wonder if the car would make an abrassive move... and know if their is a car also next to you.... interesting but scary!

Cadillac already has the system to watch to see if you are staying in your lane.
It is called "Lane Departure Warning"...
It watches the white lines and if you drift too close to one of them... it vibrates the side of the seat that is against your leg and blinks a warning to you on the instrument panel.
They also already have a system that alerts you to someone beside you if you turn on the turn signals and start to change lanes.
It is called "Blind Side Alert"...
They already have the type cruise control that automatically speeds up and slows down as needed...
It is called "Adaptive Cruise"...
All that is left to do is integrate it all together... and the car can drive itself...
