Bumping this back up since I just checked a customers vehicle and of course they didn't even know they had an in cabin filter. Man it was nasty. Now he is one happy camper with fresh and better flowing air out his vents.
OK, I checked my maintenance log and found that I have not changed out my cabin air filter since 2006. Man does the time fly by, seems like I just changed it last year.
Anyway, here is what they looked like as I pulled them out of the truck. I think my airflow should increase some, even though it didn't seem to be that bad before I changed them.
I guess vehicles that do not have filters have some kind of screen to keep the large stuff from getting into the heater core and AC evaporator?
