I'm just curious. How much weight does that add to the frontend?

Big difference that will make in the front.

How comfortable is it off roading? I'd always figured it would be a tight fit in a XJ rather than a normal wrangler(any year).

Not to bad. It's about the same inside. Maybe a little tighter the a wrangler. But not to bad
