I actually never liked the Veyron so much, for a sports car an American V8 always looked better for me.

I agree Daniel. I never liked the Veyron. I respect its capabilities, but don't care for the car.

When I first heard about its specs I started to think it was too heavy, and developed more to be expensive than fast. Some people use to call a truck or a SUV a "compensator", but this definition actually is better applied to the Veyron...
