Mine broke as well not even 2 weeks ago. I just took it off. Still on the fence about whether or not I will replace it. It helps a ton when driving for extended periods at night, like taking road trips. I am actually taking the Burban on a 6 hour roadtrip this evening when I get off work. I will have to see how bad the bugs get on my hood.
