Here is my latest project i picked up. An 86 Honda Rebel :) I bought this bike about a month ago after I went to a car show and saw all these bikes and got it in my head that I needed one... Well i never rode a bike before other than a little pit bike out in the desert. So I found this and bought it signed up for an MSF Class and just got my license. While waiting for a month to go to the class I figured the bike cannot stay the way it was. I wanted to lower it so Cole made me some solid steel rods to replace the rear shocks to see if I like how the rigid frame feels. Then we replaced the stock handle bars with some black drag bars. Also replaced the rear fender with a fender that Cole made in a metal shaping class and cut off a few brackets. Also relocated all the wiring to under the swing arm so its out of site along with moving the battery to under the seat. Also painted it. Mixed some maroon paint that I have from my Ford with some flat black to come up with the color.

There a few little things left to do like hook up my mini speedo I have and we just finished mounting the tail lights so I still need to hook up all the wires. Once I get pics of those I'll post them. But until then....

right after I picked it up.....the blue paint has to go!
