I'm forgetful. I see you still remind yourself what brand and model you're driving. :D

I'm not posting pictures, bragging about removing the belt buckle of a bowtie from my tailgate. :jester:

I've removed all the "stick ons" from the BMW, but really DGAF enough about the appearance of the truck to mess with debadging, etc.. That said, I never have been real big into debadging, regardless. That "Z4" bugged me, though.. It never looked level. :dunno:

It's kinda crazy to me that every time they come out with a new "RAM" truck, the "RAM" is bigger and so is the gaudy emblem/badging. I know GM is doing it, too, but it seems like FCA is taking it to whole new levels with the Rams..

To each their own!

Lol. I'm not talking about the bowtie. That's been gone for years. I'm talking about my old man shell. The truxedo is back on.

Oh, ok! That shows how much I've been paying attention.

Since your sig pic didn't have the shell, I didn't connect the dots. :uhoh:

I'm not 100% sure on this but I think you can add the BT module from GM to your factory system. I was looking at doing that our 2011 Acadia but other things came up so it got put on hold. It is a nice feature. I installed an aftermarket Alpine in my truck and it's so nice to listen to music from my phone and not have to plug it in.

What Alpine head unit do you have? I have an Alpine in mine, but it's an older model from 2007 or 2008. I can "add" Bluetooth if I buy an external module from Alpine, but for what that module costs, I can actually buy a newer head unit. I've been considering converting my dash to the 2003-2006 dash so that I can install a double din style larger head unit. Other than NO Bluetooth, I actually like the unit I have. It has pretty much every other feature I want or need, all the aux inputs and everything, I have my DVD player on one Aux input, then it has an iPod input/interface, and it also has a USB port that I can plug in a thumb drive full of music. My only real benefit of getting a double din would be to have a DVD player built in so I wouldn't need a separate DVD player, and to have Bluetooth built in. :dunno:

Scotty, it is a CDA-117.

Ahh, OK. I do remember that thread now that I just read over it again. I would need that same BT-400 module that you have, PLUS another $50 adapter cable since I have a 2008 model radio and the BT-400 is only plug and play with 09+ Alpine stereos. For the hell of it, I just look on Crutchfield yet again
Seems that Alpine doesn't even make what I am looking for. I need a head unit with Front, Rear, And Sub outputs, preferably 4volt outputs. And I need a REAR aux input, and a USB input. Finding all that in a head unit with Bluetooth also built in is next to impossible. Every model with an Aux input has a 3.5mm input jack on the FRONT. A front USB doesn't really matter but I need the aux input on the back because I will permanently have a DVD player connected. Oh well, I'll just keep the CDA-9887 that I have right now until it breaks, or else I give in and modify my dash to fit a Double din unit with Bluetooth. :dunno:

I know, I know.

I have been in Harley mode. I need to get back to the truck, soon, and get the bowtie, and 2500 off there.
