One more month guys. :wookie:  :willy::willy::willy::willy:

YEP!!! Its going to come up on us quick :D

Yeah I know and I am still waiting on FedEx to find my vette servo that was supose to be delivered on the 12th of this month. They say it was dropped off but nothing was at my house abd the wife was home all day. :fume: Called FedE and asked where it was and they said they would ask the driver where he put it. Two days later driver stops by and asked if I got it. I said no and he said he might have dropped it off at the wrong house. I live in the country so there is not to many places to drop it off. Said he would check his route for that day and said he would get back to me. Haven't heard anything since. I e-mailed the place where I got it from today informing them what had happened and haven't heard back yet. Hope I can get one before the meet. :dunno:

1 month to the day now!

That sucks SierraRR. I can't believe they can't get the right house out in the country. Delivery guy must not be able to read house numbers.

Mine is supposed to be here this afternoon (23rd). I thought it was going to be here on the 20th.

Are you going to do the servo yourself?
If you are, let me know how it goes. I probably won't get to mine until this weekend or next weekend.

While I'm up there, I'm making a parts run too.
I'm looking for a 4L60E to rebuild, a Vortec 350 to rebuild into a 383 some day, and picking up a front bumper (re-chromed).
And just about anything else I find interesting.

He Carl you gonna have your rims on by then? :naughty: How much if any snow is left in the Rogers area if anyone knows?

22 Deposits, thats great. Can't wait. :rocker:
I should have them on by then. I am waiting for all of the potholes to be filled. I am not rushing to put them on then have one get bent by a pothole. Also there is no snow in rogers. Might be a tiny bit of the huge piles left but none on the roads.
CJ Hungus, I didn't know you were coming until today. I was thinking about getting in touch with you anyways. I've seen you a lot here on TMC. There really isn't anyone else close to me except you guys in the cities. When are you planning on coming? Re-tune or full-tune?
I already have a BB tune and will be getting EFI live V2 so I will not even need a retune. I will be there maybe Friday night. I will forsure be there sat morning and sunday morning as I work right across the street from cabelas and will just hang out with the guys until I work at 3pm Sat and Sun.

Cool. I plan on leaving here no later than 8am, if not by 7am, on Saturday morning. I want to get up there and meet as many guys as I can. If for some how I don't meet you on Saturday, which is doubtful, I'll be there Sunday (which is when I'm planning on getting my tune).

What do you plan on using EFI Live V2 for? Isn't there a point at which there is no more to tune? I guess unless there is a way to save multiple tunes on your PC and switch them for the occasion.

I'm waiting for AutoCal to come out. Eventually. I think its been a year since it was supposed to be out. If it is reasonably priced, I wouldn't mind keeping multiple tunes on my PC and changing them for towing VS cruising around VS all out power.

Oh, received my Corvette servo today! I hope to get it in this weekend or next weekend. The instructions they sent with aren't step-by-step. They are 3 or 4 pages from the ATSG manual. They show the order in which parts go. I'll be looking at forums while I'm doing it.

On a stock truck, there isn't too much to tune after Justin gets done with it but that's' where the mods come into play. I eventually plan on full bolt ons and a cam to start then going Forced Induction sometime down the road. I don't want to have to rely on Justin to make tweaks all the time or change stuff.
Look on here for the Servo Thread, I think there are some good tutorials and read the whole thread. We did it and had some minor troubles but it will help you to know what to look for. Good Luck!

Other than having AutoCal and having multiple tunes (if it is possible), the only other thing I plan on doing is building a 383 stroker. When that time comes (probably 2-3 years; when I'm done with school), there will probably be another meet in Minneapolis, Madison WI, or Milwaukee WI that I can go to.

Will you have V2 before the meet? I'd be interesting to see it.

I should have it before then. Not too much to look at. Just some cables and the software.

FINALLY got my vette servo, but not from FedEx. Stopped there the other day and asked about it. They said that they dropped it off and do not have it anymore. So when the driver said when he stopped by before. He said that he might have dropped it off at a diffrent place. So yesterday I drove around to other house's in my area and found it myself. So I am not very happy with FedEx right now. Now I just have to find sometime to put it in along with a few other things I need to do to the truck before the meet. :D

Glad you finally got it!

I helped a friend take a 4L60E out of a S10 ZR2 for 5 hours (same trans, transfer case is the same except it is a NP233 versus my NP243). We got the transfer case out, everything disconnected everything from the tranny except the 2 plugs on the driver's side (I think they're glued in), and took out all the bell housing bolts. Didn't know that we had to unbolt the torque converter from the flywheel. Its a pain because you have to get to it through the starter (can't see anything, have to feel for the bolts) and turn the engine over with the front of the crankshaft (has the V6 so the fan is 2 inches from the radiator). So the trans is currently supported by a 2x4 and he's going to work on it Tues or Wednesday. What a pain! Now I know why I went FULLSIZED! (sorry, needed to vent)

There is no way on an S10 to install the Corvette servo without taking the entire thing out! (for future reference)

I hope to God my servo goes in easy and that when the time comes, there is a lot more room to take out the tranny!

Anyways, are you going to do it yourself? If so, let us know how it goes!
I gotta do mine sometime too.
