Well I may have swing in over there to see how things are going. I work until noon on friday but it all depends on when I'm getting my wheels and tires mounted.

I have some news, I FINALLY FOUND A 4L60E!!!!!!!
I've been looking for one for almost 6 weeks now. Its in Lake Elmo. Its from a '98 GMC Jimmy 4x4 with 150k on it. The Jimmy started to backfire and the guy didn't feel like sticking money into it. So it was working fine as of the last time it was driven.
I'm gonna have a busy weekend.
Fri - wash & polish truck, get my spare doors apart to get the glass out of them for tinting, work @ 2
Sat - leave 6:30am, get to Lake Elmo (transmission) 9:00, Forest Lake 10:00, Rogers 11:00, tinting with Kyles03 12:30-2:00 or earlier, and get back to meet the rest of the guys no later than 2:30.
Sun - Rogers all morning, Jordan (interior parts), home - and some bumming around too

Why buy new when you can restore?
I want to get one to rebuild. I don't want to be without a truck (my primary vehicle). I plan on rebuilding it myself and having it ready when I need it. Then all I have to do is take out one and put one right back in. 2 days work instead of 3 weeks.
Plus its just more fun to do it yourself.
