With the large number of immigrants from 3rd world countries driving in this state, a self driven car would be huge improvement. I think the bill should be expanded so that if a person has caused multiple accidents, they should forced to use one of these cars.

I'd rather see them forced rouse public transit.

Considering I have yet to use a computer that didn't have hiccups...I'm a little leery about the idea. I hear nothing but great things about Apple computers until I sit at the keyboard. Then it only takes a few minutes before it starts freezing up and acting funny. I'd hate for my vehicle to get the jitters at highway speed.

I think it would be great for highways and other major roads but drivers need to be in control in smaller country roads. Computer sensors probably wont pick up a long legged deer walking out of the bush when the car is going 60 mph with trees only a few feet of the road.

Yeah, the first day I was teaching (Friday the 14th) I was taking roll on my tiny little Acer netbook next to a high end mac. One of the students asked why I was using my tiny little netbook and finished it with "because Macs are awesome." I told him he'd be eating his words by the end of the class. Sure enough, the big bad mac froze over while my little netbook was chugging along like normal. I could almost hear the egos of three apple users collapse. They don't pick on my little Acer or brag about apple in front of me anymore.
