Got everything off of the old motor.

Just about got everything back on the new motor. Just primed the new oil pump. I couldn't find my Haynes repair manual cause I wanted to set the time before I put the motor in the truck.
Looking for the firing order... FUN

Thanks Nick.

Got the new motor in the truck and got the bolts bolted into the flex plate as well as engine/tranny bolts in.

The new motor that I got had these plugs in where the spark plugs go I got to thinking and turned that into action. When I bolted on the harmonic balancer while also turning the engine at some points one of the cylinders popped out the plug. I think it was number 7 but I kept going with it until #1 shot the plug out. I double checked after the plug was out and I was at TDC.

Thought it was a little trick if you were working by yourself.

Argh she would come alive if only I had some spark. I am going out to check the crank positioning sensor at the bottom of the timing chain cover. All my grounds are good. Engine cranks cook. Fuel and Oil primed.

Any other ideas?
