Can't say I've ever used gloves so I'm not real sure which ones are the best, but I can see the Nitrile Gloves being good for working on stuff since they're thin enough you can still feel stuff, but thick enough you won't get cut up (as bad).
From what I've heard people say though, Mechanix (sp?) is the way to go.
