An all flat black paint job and chrome/stainless wheel covers and that thing would screem government agency. :jester:

I wouldn't paint Harvey a dark color like that though. It gets hot enough inside that box on the back now. I'd hate to think what it'd be like if it were painted flat black. Could probably bake pizzas in it. :D

sounds like a little extra income to me, nothing better than extra fresh baked on the way pizza!

I keep some weather measuring instruments in it for when I do storm spotting for NWS, and I accidentally left the anemometer on when the outside temp hit 103 (my digital thermometer said 106.5 in the shade that day) and when I went to use it a few days later it had recorded a max temp of 170 degrees, which was as high as the thermometer built into it could register.

You'll be surprised how hot it actually gets inside a closed up vehicle in that type of heat. I have a interior temp sensor on my remote start, and I can check the interior temp of my truck via the screen on my alarm remote. I've seen it read as hot as 160:eek: and it regularly gets up to about 130 or so in 90+degree heat. :dunno:
