Did some miles of four wheeling today and one of the biggest issues is the creek in the back acres of our lot was deep due to an alleged unseen beaver dam. We normally ride through this creek to get to the back 80a. so the search was on for a beaver dam.

Followed the creek about a 1000 yards as the creek began widen due to the dam. We found it and we 4 wheeled in through the low side. You can't really see but the actual dam was in a half moon shape and about 80' in length. We found the main part of the creek where the damn dam was and started ripping it apart. It took about 2 hours to get a good flow going and in that time we could see that the outer parts were already down about a foot in depth. I tell you what, it was about 5' tall and the more mud we were able to get out of there the more the flow would increase.

I have to go back there again soon if the water level is still too high. I will try to grab more photos when I go back.
