When I had my truck, the Blackbear Tune was the best bang for the buck..

The exhaust work? Naaaah, especially not for what I spent. But, I liked the way it looked.

The Volant CAI? Nope! It just made more noise, but I liked that, too...

The wheels & tires? Aesthetically, I liked 'em. But, not the best bang for the buck...

HSR's? Nope! Bed cover? Nope.. Although, I liked 'em both..

Drop shackles to get the ass-end from sticking up so high it looked like a cat waiting to be mated? Not bad, based on the money spent..

HID's? Naaah... Although they were a vast improvement (in my opinion) over the stock lighting, the BB tune still topped it..

And I think that covers most of the mods I did.. :dunno:

The biggest waste of money (after I finally upgraded to a BB tune)? Getting the DiabloSport Predator tuner (before upgrading to BB)..

So how do you get it tuned? Iv never messed with newer model stuff so im new to it. Do they give you a lap top and you plug it in then drive it. Then send them it back and they send you a tune you plug in an down load? What kind of gain should i expect?

I was so stuck on making sure you get a black bear tune, I forgot to mention 2 other cheap mods your new truck is begging for.

First, debadge that bitch. It's free and will make a huge improvement in looks(daddy shut it!).

Second, lower that thing ASAP. Even if it's just the 2 inch drop shackles for the rear. Stock ride height and 22s is a huge no no.

I did mine at one of the "live tune" meets they had here locally..

They can be done by mail, but I haven't messed with that. If you have a newer model GM truck, PM JennaBear with the info on the truck and she can tell you whether or not they can tune it and how it can be done..
