The ball joint boots on the 91 D350 I am pulling parts offof are torn. I would love to just replace them because the ball joints stillfeel great. But, I cannot get just the boots. So before I try to tear into thisproblem I wanted to find out from someone who has done it how it is done. Everysingle damn ball joint job I have done has been different for every vehicle. Soeven though I think it is pretty self explanatory, I want to know if there areany tricks or things I should know before I dig into this one. Do both theupper and lowers press in and out? Will a hand held puller/presser do the job? Please walk me through the process.

I don't see why they wouldn't press out. Depending on the condition, they may need to be beat out with a sledge if the press doesn't work.

I think that is all they need as well. I just get sick of learning after the fact there was a trick to make it easier.
