Just curious about this mod. On a newer stock engine?
I don't think it is necessary unless you were trying to run it at 550rwhp or more. I don't think you are trying to run it on a max hp setting and most people keep their trucks at 450rwhp as a daily. They might bump it up to a hotter tune if needed. But not often.
My target is 500+ reliable WHP... Depending on EGT's is when I'll dial back the tune, when towing my tow hauler... The Wild tune from H&S isn't enough get up and go for me...
