Well I made it over to the 1/8th mile track and ran 3 times... I probably would have done 4-5 runs if it wasnt for a dang mustang the blew his motor around 7PM.. I dont think that we started till 8 after all the cleanup and oil on the track....

So here are my times...I will just type out my times for right now! I can get the photo scans later if you want to see them...

RUN1 RUN2 RUN3

R/T .6018  .2026 .3148

60FT 2.5457 2.3082 2.1583

330FT 6.4481 6.1469 6.0197

1/8ET 9.7134 9.3004 9.1972

1/8MPH 73.57 77.49 77.17

The first run I accidently backed into the water and got a nasty wheel hop spin which I am wondering if that increased my reaction time a little since I wasnt moving at first...

I wish that I had better reaction times I have never done this before or ever been to the drag strip before... Only ever watched videos...

I would like to think that I could hit mid to high 8's if I had radials and if I could stop spinning! The spinning is the biggest problem right now..

Hopefully next time I will have my transgo Jr installed that I have been putting off and can grab some better times!

Ohh BTW The last run I went up against a Colorado with the 5.3! I gave him a card and hopefully he will join up!

Not bad. Unless you can find some better tires for next time, I'd try launching in 4wd.

When I read the whole wheel spinning thing, I was like HUH? doesn't he have 4wd?

Yeah I was itching to do so but I wasnt sure about it with the extra hp...
I believe 4wd is actually better on the drivetrain since it distributes the power to all four wheels than just the back two.

Cool there Brian. :)

I wish we had a track here on the Island. I'd like to see what the Tahoe could do after I get it tuned.

Yeah I was the winner 2 out of 3... I bet I would have been the winner of the first race if I had used 4wd!

I will have photos soon.. My brother has them and they will be in the dragstrip website soon!
