I used it before my Black Bear tune here last April. I was a little nervous to do so but just follow the directions and you will be fine. Be very fragile with the MAF. I have read were guys say it helps there fuel economy some.

I did this before my tune the night before and well i got up there and Justin is hooked into my truck and he is like your MAF sensor isn't reading. And i am like oh no...please no, as i wouldn't of been able to get tuned. But he says let me look at it and i will tell you if its dead or not here pretty soon. And as soon as it both hit us we were like, did you hook it back up? Sure enough, thankfully, i forgot to plug it back in! So then everything checked out.
That's funny, unfortunate but funny.

Sure was...(after the fact). I still got my tune so i was happy!

I'll bet there were a few choice words used when you realized it was unplugged.

I picked up a can of this stuff yesterday evening. I found some at O'reillys, Advance and Autozone don't carry it. :dunno: Hopefully I can get it cleaned out later today.

I use it on occasion. No butt dyno improvement, but thats not what the intended purpose is for. It was just for cleaning.

Interesting it didn't kick the CEL. I changed out the air filter on our Acadia and forgot to hook the MAS back up. Jumped into it to take the girls to school and while backing out of the drive the traction control light came on couldn't figure out why but it wouldn't turn off. Drove to school about 4 miles and the CEL light came on, then it hit me, pulled over and popped the hood and hooked the MAS back up. All was good from there on.

It did...It stumbled when i started to leave for the tune meet that day, but i had, had the truck at work in the shop working on it the whole week so figured maybe it was the battery just not being fully charged up or something. Seen the CEL so stopped going outta town and shut it off and restarted it, still there. Didn't have time to spare and figured Justin could tell me what it is, and sure enough...MAF. I didn't say to much as i did it to myself! I was surprised it still ran and everything, but he said it runs of the tables in the PCM, the defaults so to speak.
