Anybody Ever Put a Million Miles on your Truck??

My brother sent me these pictures today...
This is the 4th truck he has put a million miles or more...
The most he put on one was a Kenworth... 1,315,000...
His total driving mileage is almost 7,000,000 miles.

That's a ton of miles. The most I ever put on one vehicle was about 125K on my company Explorer.

I had 238K on my '91 Sierra. It would have made it to at least 275 with some love but I was over fixing that thing.

Pretty rare for people to even break 120-140k these days. Too many people feel like they're too good to drive an "old" car. I have a neighbor that buys a car anytime one of the other neighbors do. He can't be one up'd on a vehicle.

He's had that car a while. We did used to trade cars a lot, though..

There was a time period in the 80's that he was buying cars from auctions on 90 day or 6 month notes. Most of them were late model Cadillacs and Lincolns. He'd buy 'em cheap, drive 'em a while, and sell 'em for as much or more than what he paid for 'em..

I think some of the neighbors thought he might be a drug dealer, because so many cars rotated through the driveway for those few years...
