I can see where this would be a really good thing in areas where rust is an issue. It's kinda cool just because it's different too.

Part of me thinks this is the worst idea ever to come out of GM. And that includes those Sunbirds and such in the 80's/90's.

The other part of me thinks it's a stroke of genius! No rust, no dents, no problems!

:dunno:

I think it would really matter a lot WHAT you do with your truck. It would work perfectly for me. My truck hasn't hauled anything more than a suitcase or an occasional piece of furniture in 2.5 years!

Like I said the p.o. hauled 4 wheelers aound in it(granted one at a time LOL) the bed has really little or no flex to it(like it would if it was flimsy).

I'll go with the genious part(all though GM and ALOT of people would say worst idea based on sales)

I DEFINETLY feel priveliged to own it along with the integrated load positions (I believe 2Xs can fit in the "slots)"it does make the truck stick out as uniquie.

Like I said if I hit it with high shine the scratches temporarily "dissapear" and it looks new.

Seems like a damn good idea to me. I know I'd love the rustproofness. :D2

The only things I don't like, is the tailgate, and that it looks like it'd be difficult to find a tonneau cover that would mount up.

The only cover I'm really interested in right now is the Roll 'N' Lock and I had the oppurtunity to have an '02 with a metal SB park next to me and instead of clamps it looked like I'd have to drill and mount to the inside(as I can't use clamps with no lip/rails.)

I do like the looks of the fiberglass tonneau's and their is only one truck I have seen with it. (He happens to be lifted also but makes mine look small LOL) Since I got my truck.

He works about 2 blocks from my house but, hasn't drove it in a while for me to see how it mounts on a regular box. Plus I have a few questions and want to take pics.
