Then tell him toyo mt ftw lol. I'd have to say go with BFG. They may ride a little stiff but they last much longer than nitto's

Yeah I hear they are the best for life. I have seen them cake up pretty bad in the mud though. But as little off roading as I do now, I'm not too worried about it

So I went to my local tire shop today and wanted to get some prices from him.

This is what I came out with (All Prices Out the Door, installation EVERYTHING):

BFG

285/65R/18s- $1442

Terra Grapplers

285/65R18- $1070
295/70/18- $1070

Trail Grapplers

285/65R/18- $1185.56
295/70/18- $1198

Those are all better than online prices for having installation included. I really think I may go with some Trail Grapplers now, since the price difference is so much smaller than expected

Well fWONk! Tires are driving me fWONking nuts! I had finally been dead set on Goodyear Duratracs, I wanted to order them from our local Goodyear store. Reason being 2 things, 1: Mike the manager there has done some great work & service with some good friends of mine and with me once. 2: I wanted to get the lifetime rotations.

Well I had a flat today and I thought, ok I need to order these tires time to stop putting it off! Well call the manager, 295/65/18s are out of stock in Charlotte (which supplies all of S&N Carolina) well he can get me a set from PA. I told him to go ahead and I'd have to pay the shipping ($100) well he calls me back 25mins later. The ones in PA are sold so he can't get them.

He suggested the Kelly Fierce Attitude M/T in 325/65/18s and he is ordering them for the shop and he said no problem if I didn't want them than no problem. He'd still look for the Duratracs.

It's been a shitty day getting yanked around, and having to change a tire in the school parking lot and fWONking up my hand at the same time :frustration:
