It's the blend door actuator. Mine has been acting up for about two years now, doing the same thing as yours. I ended up just unplugging the sonofabitch when it was blowing cold so now it stays blowing cold. Then I plug it back in for the winter so I can use the heater. I need to actually open up the dash one day and actually replace the damn thing.

I dont have the center console, but just as easy. I just pulled some of mine apart to show how easy.

Turn on the ignition set the HVAC to cold. Turn off. DO NOT TURN ON until the actuator has been re-installed. There are 4 , 7MM bolts holding the under the passenger side dash. Two by the floor panel, one on the tunnel and one by the driver side.
Unbolt them, then pull the panel. The actuator is held on with 3 screws. Pull the connector and unscrew. Reverse for install.

My phone cant get in the tight spots.

Cover

The actuator has the red clip on it.

Remove HVAC fuse.
Reinstall HVAC fuse and wait 1 minute while it calibrates. DO NOT touch the HVAC settings.
Start vehicle.

Some of the instructions I found you have to remove dash pad and the driver and passenger side actuator are inside the dash below the radio.
