Those will work, but the color and brightness will be pathetic compared to the LEDs.

Hmm I didn't even think about changing the dash color like that :O Guess I'll have to take a look at it and see if I can get to the led bulb things.

Don't waste your money on those. I don't know anyone who has had good success with them. Even if they doo look good at first, over time they will end up melting on the bulbs and have bad discoloring due to heat from the bulbs.

I mean ones that go up past stock max mph... Maybe a whole dash display that's different? I can't seem to find anything like that for my chevy

Not sure what your stock max MPH is, but Simco makes a bad arse replacement gauge cluster. Just remove your stock cluster, and plug this one right in!

I would have recommend what I have, an Autometer Lunar series gauge cluster, but they are no longer in production and it only goes to 100mph(of course it has been pegged a few times  )...here is a couple pics of mine

I went with the Simco Overlay myself, 120 was stock for my 06. For $120 it is cheap enough and allowed me to blow more money on things that would actually make the truck go faster.

only thing i dont like about the GM clusters is that the rpm only goes up to 6000, not like 6500/7000 for people that run higher than 6000(like i do:D)

I don't about GMT900 trucks, but I know digital_dash_solutions has Escalade-style clusters that have 7k tachs for the 03-06 trucks.
