Not trying to say anything bad about your times but even the 4 door 4.7 gave me a 1.91 and that bitch was heavy and slow.

If the 4.7 was 2wd, it weighed almost exactly the same as my truck. The S10 probably weighed 1000-1500 lbs. less.

Considering how heavy and tall the old tires were, I don't think a 1.79 is too bad. It was over a tenth quicker than the 4.7, which is a pretty significant difference.

The truck also dead hooks, so other than more power, gears, or a bigger converter, there's nothing I can do to change the 60'.

My dodge weighed in at 5,900lbs. You ever consider steppin up to a 3200 or even a 3400 if it's just a weekend toy?

How the hell was it that heavy, was it a megacab? There was a guy at the track a couple months ago whose 4 door 2wd Hemi weighed in at 4800.

Cory's bed was filled with bullshit. :p

Dan, one thought on how to pick up a little more power and speed... remove the truck and add some Tahoe.

That had to be without a backseat and a lot of other stuff.
