I've had it since before Christmas. I'm obviously not in a big hurry with it. But, I'll let you know!

Thanks, Gary! It suits my needs well.. A good around-town driver, a good road car, and a good back-roads car..

Very cool Michael! I really like Subies. They a great cars. As mush as I love my truck, I would have something a little "less" if I didn't need(yes I'm sure I could get by w/ less so need may not be the right word) what I have.

We are getting around the same mileage though. Oh, wait that was a 2 in the ones position of your post. Ok, I get 12-14 city and 17-19 highway. :crybaby:

Yeah, I'm sure you "need" that big ol' truck for those trips to the Post Office... :uhoh: :jester:

I understand what you mean, though. There have been a few times that having the truck would've been handy.. But, Lowes and Home Depot do delivery. So, I haven't had to ask anyone "hey, can I borrow your truck??" :jester:

Where is a turbo on the mod list:dunno:

I've actually been looking into that.. A LOT of changes would need to be made. From what I've read, even with those changes, I wouldn't be able to crank much boost out of it.. So, I'm not sure it'd be worth the expense. :dunno:

I could probably get an older Mustang or Firebird or something to fix up and have a lot more fun with that money, instead..

I like having all weather proof inside storage as well. But I don't like getting 12-14 mpg city and 15-18 mpg highway. :( And you mentioned that you didn't like the way your truck rode compared to the Suburu. I don't particularly like the way trucks ride either. Believe it or not, my Suburban rides more like a car than a truck.:dunno: It may have something to do with the fact that trucks have leaf springs in the rear and Suburbans and Tahoes have coils in the rear.

Yeah, the Burb having more weight over the rear axle probably helps some too. I noticed my truck seemed to ride a little better if I had 200-300 lbs of "stuff" in the back..

Glad you like the Subie Michael, and that mileage is awesome! It must have been a big change, but as long as it meets your needs, that is all that matters.

Yeah, the first month or two was probably the worst about wanting to be able to see over/through other vehicles.. and wanting to stomp the gas pedal and QUICKLY get around someone.

After I got used to the size, handling, etc. of the Outback, it's more "fun" to maneuver in traffic, around curves, etc. But, if you got a nice, straight shot, the Denali would eat its lunch!

So Michael... is it safe to assume that your year has been trouble free? I don't recall you ever mentioning and breakage or issues.
