Re: '93 2500 diesel lift kit help

That truck has pretty much the same suspension as my burb does...and because of the IFS lifts aren't going to be inexpensive. There's a lot more to lifting one than a straight axle so they can be pricey.I have a 6'' lift on my burb and is a Pro Comp,a popular kit.It was sold by and installed by 4Wheel Parts down in Van Nuys according to the guy I bought it from. Not sure what it cost but I would suspect it was $1500 to $2000.My burb rides great, steers straight and can handle rough stuff pretty well....no breakage yet(knocks on wood).I can say this...make sure ALL of the nuts & bolts are tight, and I mean tight.I was chasing a weird knock & clunk for almost three years and then one day while installing a new steering stabilizer I hit all the nuts& bolts with my impact and found one that wasn't tight.Problem solved.

Look into a Rough Country 6" Lift. You can have the thing shipped to your dorr for under $1000. There are countless guys running that lift for that reason but are also pretty tough from what I've read. They've been compared to a 6.5" cepek lift which is supposed to be the strongest IFS lift for these trucks and a lot say they are just as strong.
