Sweet burb man.. I had a 89 identical to yours.. I too had to have the rear end rebuilt.. Yes it was a tank.. but i loved that thing..

Sweet boat also.. Do you just cat fish... I fish everday i can get my boat out.. I only catfish hopefully this summer ill get into some other kind of fishing but i love me some cat fishing

Yah, I'm on a few catfish sites as this screen name or as NorthportTroller. I did it heavy the last two years, so I am going to take it easy this year. Got 6 flatheads over 30 pounds last year, that was a new record for my boat.

But I am more of a boater than a fisherman, it just comes with the territory. I absoloutly love it on the water.

Ya same here.. We usually Cruise half the day and get out at the sand beaches swim and have a good time then we usually fish till dark.. But the last half of the season my g/f and i just got addicted to fishing lol.. only time we would stop and swim is if it was too hott....

I cant afford to cruise anymore... Because im addicted to that little button called trim.. lol.. glad we got some more boats on the forum

Wish I had a boat. I go out with my father in law on his boat as often as I can. He has a Bass Tracker as well. His is the 190.

5-800 bucks can get ya a little 14' aluminum with a trailer bro. I feel so much freedom and peace out on the water, I am addicted to it.

I don't run the motor more than I have to. If I got the extra cash, we'll pull the tube around. Other than that, I'll either run upstream and drift down the rest of the day, or I'll hit the party area at the top of the island in the middle of the river, throw out the anchor and park it there for the day.

When my daughters come for the weekend, that's where we go, to the island. All waist deep right there with sand and shells and a small beach area for the kids to play. Build sand castles, explore, go wade fishing, swimming, play water games and card games on the boat. Or I'll run upstream and drift down with the trolling motor and we'll play treasure hunt along the bank, they really love to do that.

We spend hours a weekend there anchored up. More time there than we spend at home during the summer. My daughters are just as addicted as me, and it's free, and nobody else here takes advatage of it, so 80% of the time we have it all to ourselves.

That sounds about like what we do.. I just got a new trolling motor back in the winter ... so when i get it mouted i plan on saving alot of fuel....

Man thanks for that web site earlier that forum is pretty damn cool... And there are like ALOT of people pretty close too me..
