'86 S10 Build Thread

i'v been on my boat for 2 weeks. im on the crew boat now headed to my truck. im ready for dry land lol

thanks. my hood is pinned and locked on one side. i went to my uncles this morning ''where im keeping my truck'' and the sob put a lock on the other side so i couldnt open the hood. he said it was so nobody could get in it but if one lock isnt enough i doudt two will be. he told me he would be home tonight and pleaded with me not to cut his lock lol

So I guess i'm gona make this my "Build thread". The truck has been runnin bad. It was hard to start and after it started it ran terrible. Answer was bad gas. I took the lines off the carb and fliped the pump on and dirty, cloudy gas came out.

Long story short i drained the fuel, and lowered the fuel pressure. I flooded it when i tried to start it so i'm gona test it in the mornin. Hopefully I'll be able to post another video, but with the tires spinnin this time.

As of 45 minutes ago.






And the reason it flooded was instead of takin the screws out to drain the carb, I put paper towels in the carb and pump the gas to get the old gas out and some drained in the motor. Bad decision on my part

Get it runnin right again and take it to the track. I'm curious about the bigger tires i'm runnin now.

Then i'm still saving for this


But i need to get some good times first.

And i need to do something with the body. Shes fast but "UGLY"

Its gona cost more than just the supercharger. Compression is too high.
