Most of the underside rust holes are fixed. All bottom side of body is wire wheeled, prepped, primered, and coated with bed liner.

Before the liner

Worst rust on the whole thing... Most is fixed now... The one floor pan has yet to be fixed, will be working on it after the body is on the frame.

Nope.... The bad, is the passenger side bedside. Its going to have to be replaced, or alot of love is going to be put in it.

Bed side it like 450$ after shipping. I'm going to try to find a complete body for the same price or little more. (I have another blazer needing some metal, so i could hit two birds with one concrete block lol...

I've so did some measuring, and i think i could fit an actual truck bed side on there with some wizzardry.

Well, Now the real fun begins... Hopefully get body bolted down and hang front clip and doors, start coating the interior in bed liner this weekend.

Not sure how to tackle the passenger side bedside... I'd hate to put a 500dollar bed side on a mud truck. But at this point i've pretty well been building it to last forever, and look "sick" atleast for awhile.

I've been looking for another cheap body with that side good, or decent everywhere else.... I've got another body that i orginally was going to build that needs alot of work but that bed side is in decent shape. Not wanting to cut it up, because we plan on building another k5 when this one is complete, and selling our red 94 chevy(too heavy for what we race now)...

I'm not sure we are good enough to knock those dents out good enough to look good with paint lol.

Still accepting donation :flipthebird:

Might consider buying a cut off quarter from a boneyard. That's gonna be one cool truck when its done!

I guess we are going to try to place it one little piece at a time... Its much cheaper to do it that way... Buy probably much more work... And i'm not sure how it will turn out.

Got all of the floors and door jambs fixed but the side... And plugged some holes that were there from the factory.

Getting bored with that body work stuff quick,lol..

I'm going to start building the engine for this blazer until mid or late summer... I'm just trying to get the body and rest of the driveline finished... Trying to keep all our engine money in our other race truck and keep it ready for a race... Completely rebuilding the engine in that truck now. ...

We started to throw together a 350 with some junk we found laying around and stuff i got super cheap off craigslist.... Atleast run good enough to drive it in and out of the paintbooth and get the suspension and driveline good to go...

350 4 bolt main... Bottom end "feel" and looks good.. Got an extra cam and shiz to shuv in its throat... Cam is worth more than the whole engine.
