Been cruising the roads with the wife and hitting some cruise in's with the 67. Drove to work a few times, I have put about 150 miles on her in the last week or two. Got a damn leak in the trans shift selector shaft. I have replaced the damn seal 2 times. Time to try a new brand possibly....only fucking leak on the car at this point. Had to replace axle seals and the pinion seal in the rear end that paid to have redone about 6 years ago.
Need to get some video, she sounds pretty damn good and sets off most every car alarm in town...

Changed out the seal on the trans and no more leak, go to get it back on the road tonight and as she is idling The power steering pump sounded strange. I take a look and it low on fluid so I put some in, turn the wheel a few times and makes sure it's been bleed.
Going for a cruise I get out on on back road and put the hammer down pretty good and she's burring some pretty good rubber and the 327 is turning a little over 6000 RPM and I bang second and they are still lit up when all of the sudden its really hard to steer.
I Pull over over and she's smoking under the hood........it's the fWONking power steering pump and the line that is hard lined to the pump housing for the return broke off the fWONking housing!!!!!
I let it drain as much as it could and had choice call a roll back to come get me or fWONk it and drive her home which is about 2 miles away. Drove it.....fluid is all over the place, underside is the car is a mess. I am now thinking about going manual steering to get rid of this mess.....I don't ever parallel park the damn thing anyway. Man I am pissed off, the pump the housing the lines, clamps box all that stuff is brand new.
Time to recharge and park it for few days or weeks.....I had fWONking awesome burn out going though, already cleaned the rubber of the paint so it would not leave marks. The sad part is all the clean up should have just called the roll back......fWONking pride got in the way, no way was she coming home on a hook!!
